R, S and C chassis Fitting guide:
- Remove the glove box
- Responsibly de-gas the a/c system. 
- Remove the a/c box from the vehicle.
- Access in now available to the heater core and outlets from the passenger floor well.
- Check condition of the heater core
- Swap relevant parts and re-assemble in reverse order.
- Most a/c techs will store your gas while you perform the install, and not charge you much to re-gas your system, check with them before you commence the job.

Billet Heater Core Outlet Fitment

The factory Nissan heater box assembly is mounted to the firewall using three locating studs/tabs.

• Passenger side: Two mounting points face the firewall. One is located low near the carpet line, while the second is positioned higher above the heater/A/C assembly.
• Driver's side: The third mounting point is located quite high above the clutch pedal (or the clutch pedal location on automatic vehicles).

For the easiest installation and best alignment of the billet heater core outlets, loosen all three mounting nuts by approximately one full turn. This allows the complete heater box assembly to move several millimetres in most directions, making it much easier to centre the billet outlets within the factory rubber firewall grommets if requited.

Once the billet outlets are correctly centred and seated in the grommets, tighten all three mounting nuts securely.
