To fit the long splash plates, you will need a cam cap stud kit, which is not included (see Nissan # 13058-5L700 or Tomei # 193016). The installation process requires drilling out the stock rivets, tapping the appropriate holes, and refitting the stock mesh filter. Engine sealant and thread lock are essential to ensure a secure and lasting fit.

5. Long Splash Plates for Extra Control:

The included long splash plates provide additional oil control and stability during high-performance driving, improving overall engine efficiency.

Installation Guide:

1. Drill Out Stock Rivets: Remove the stock rivet retainers, then drill and tap the holes using the supplied drill bit and thread tap.
2. Refit Stock Mesh Filter: Clean and refit the stock mesh filter, adding the supplied media in the cavity between the filter and hose outlets.
3. Glue & Seal Plates: Use engine sealant to glue the new baffle plate in place.
4. Install Long Splash Plates: Install the long splash plates with the supplied hardware, and replace one cam cap bolt with the stud at a time, torquing it to Nissan spec.
5. Secure & Refit Rocker Covers: Install the covers and tighten everything properly for a secure fit.

Cam Cap Studs:

Please note that cam cap studs are required for the long splash plates, but are not included in the kit. You can use:

• Nissan Part # 13058-5L700
• Tomei Part # 193016
