RB Crank & Cam Timing Sync Kits

Upgrade the engine-position sensing setup on your Nissan RB engine with Boost Doc crank and cam sync kits.

These kits are designed to provide more consistent engine-position data when used with a compatible aftermarket ECU, helping reduce reliance on the factory Crank Angle Sensor (CAS).

Choose from a Lower Crank Sync Kit, Twin Cam Top Sync Kit, or Complete Upper & Lower Sync Kit, depending on your RB engine and setup.

1. Lower RB Crank Sync Kit

Fits: RB20, RB25, RB26, RB30 and Neo
Designed to provide crankshaft-position data directly to a compatible aftermarket ECU.
Includes:

  • Crankshaft timing gear
  • Mounting hardware
  • Stainless steel gear-tooth sensor

This setup is intended to reduce potential timing-data issues associated with the factory CAS and provide more consistent crank-position information for tuning.

2. RB Twin Cam Top Sync Kit

Fits: Nissan RB Twin Cam engines — RB20, RB25, RB26 and Neo
Designed to work alongside the Lower Crank Sync Kit to provide cam-position information to a compatible aftermarket ECU.
Includes:

  • Mounting hardware and brackets
  • Stainless steel gear-tooth sensor

When combined with the lower kit, the ECU can use both crankshaft and camshaft position data for engine synchronisation.

3. Complete Engine Position / Sync Kit

Fits: Nissan RB Twin Cam engines — RB20, RB25, RB26 and Neo
The complete kit combines the upper cam sync kit and lower crank sync kit into one engine-position solution.

By reading crankshaft position and cross-referencing it with camshaft position, the system provides consistent engine-position data to a compatible aftermarket ECU.

Installation & Compatibility

Installation requirement: A die grinder or Dremel tool is required to slot the lip of the oil pump for clearance around the lower sensor.

ECU compatibility: These kits are designed for use with a compatible aftermarket ECU. The existing product information references systems such as Haltech Platinum Pro.
